Chasmosaurus Belli

I entered the Dino Art Contest hosted by Stan Winston School of Character Arts.

In this illustration I wanted to show sunlight shining through the skin across a Chasmosaurus' frill. I imagined it being similar to a frill-necked lizard. It's fascinating to imagine all the possible patterns and colours the frill could have displayed.

Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus

I entered the Dino Art Contest hosted by Stan Winston School of Character Arts.

I was inspired by the new findings of paleontologist Nizar Ibrahim that the Spinosaurus was an aquatic dinosaur. You can read about it in this National Geographic article: Mister Big.
